Qualify Out
A full role play where the customer has a 50% chance of being unqualified - and interrogating them costs you the deal either way.
Sell as if it is real. Uncover whether it is.
You run a complete conversation under uncertainty. The buyer may or may not be able to buy. Your job is to find out without turning the call into an audit - and to close if the deal is real.
01
The call opens under uncertainty
Fifty-fifty: this buyer may or may not be able to buy. You are not told which. The full conversation runs as a live sale.
02
Sell as though the deal is going ahead
Interrogation is off the table - it costs you the deal either way. You uncover fit while still selling.
03
Earn the grounds in conversation
A correct conclusion only counts if you genuinely uncovered it. Guessing right is a miss - guessing is not the skill.
04
Close if real. Exit if not.
Pursue an unqualified buyer and the time is wasted. Treat a qualified one with suspicion and the deal sours. Both directions are expensive on purpose.
Isolated qualification drills teach the wrong habit
When the customer is known to be unqualified, extraction becomes interrogation - and interrogation is exactly what a rep cannot do in a real sale.
Distorted drill
Known-unqualified extraction
The learner already knows the deal is dead. Probing turns into interrogation. That habit does not transfer to a live call.
This mode
Uncertainty inside a real sale
The truth must be uncovered while you sell as though the deal is going ahead. That is the judgement that matters in practice.
Wrong both ways
Pursue the wrong deal
Chase an unqualified buyer and the time is wasted. Treat a qualified one with suspicion and the deal sours. Both directions are expensive on purpose.
Luck does not count
Guessing is not the skill
A correct conclusion only scores if you genuinely uncovered the grounds in conversation. Right by chance is still a loss.
Same mode. Examination conditions.
There is no separate Exam Qualify Out page. The exam variant is Qualify Out run in the Examination style from the core ladder: no hints, no pausing, seconds to respond.
Unchanged
The judgement
Fifty-fifty uncertainty. Uncover without interrogating. Close if the deal is real. Guessing does not count. The game is the same.
What changes
Support and time
No hints. No pause to compose. Seconds to respond - the same honest conditions Examination uses on the core ladder. Built to prove the skill, not to teach it.
Why the exam variant exists
Prove it at the pace of a live call.
Qualify Out builds the judgement with room to think. The exam variant asks whether that judgement survives when reality offers nothing gentler - the strongest evidence the platform can offer that a rep is ready for the real thing.
Uncertainty inside a full call.
The Full role-play skill page covers how call types unlock. Qualification covers the component skill.
